Southwest Philadelphia residents didn’t let the rain stop the show at the 5th Annual Kickback Music Festival on Saturday, June 17, 2017.  Hip-Hop Humanitarian Mont Brown celebrated five years of service through arts, music and fashion by bringing the annual festival back to his Southwest Philadelphia neighborhood.

An estimated 500 people packed the corner of 55th and Chester Avenue for live music and entertainment from local artists that included Philadelphia’s own Guordan Banks, Lee Mazin and Solis.  Attendees also had an opportunity to support several small businesses as well as check out the latest in technology from AT&T and get information about becoming a first time homebuyer from Fulton Mortgage Company.

Founded in 2013, the Kickback Foundation is a philanthropic movement which provides resources to underserved communities, artists, and entrepreneurs. The foundation hosts community givebacks and events throughout the year aiding Philadelphia neighborhoods in deep poverty; engaging the minds and hearts of youth through art, music, fashion, fitness and sports.
